About This Event
The Personal Best 5 Mile is for competitive and recreational runners and walkers and is timed and scored with the IPICO system with overall and age group awards. The 5K is for recreational walkers and runners.  There is also a Kids Fun Run!

Location/Parking
Event is held at Broad Ripple Park located at 1550 Broad Ripple Ave, Indianapolis. There is parking inside of the park. If the park should fill up, then additional parking is available in neighborhoods surrounding the park.

Packet Pick Up - Late Registration
Online sign up will go until 5pm on Thursday, August 4.  The cost for preregistration is $20.  After that you may register (late registration is $24) and pick up your packet on event day beginning at 6:45 am through 7:45 am.

Event Schedule
Registration/Packet pick up will open at 6:45 am in the Registration Tent. The 5 Mile will start at 8:00 am.  The 5K will start at 8:15 AM. The Kids Fun Run will begin at 9:15 am. Awards ceremony as soon as results are finalized.

Overall Awards
The top 10 men and top 10 women in the 5 Mile will receive gift cards from the Athletic Annex Running Centre in the following amounts.  There are no awards for the recreational 5K event.

1^st = 100, 2^nd = 90, 3^rd = 80, 4^th = 70, 5^th = 60, 6^th = 50, 7^th = 40, 8^th = 30, 9^th = 20, 10^th = 10

Age Groups
Traditional age group awards will be given out after the race for all age categories in the 5 Mile Run (5 year increments beginning with 12 under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29...75+).  There are no age group awards for the 5K.

Kids Fun Run
This fun event will happen on the park beginning at 9:15AM. All kids ages 10 and under can participate in a short distance fun run. No registration or fees are required - just show up!

Great scenic courses for both the 5 Mile and 5K. IPICO Tag Timing for quick accurate results in the 5 Mile, Refeshments, Fun music, Fun Run for Kids, Deep Open Awards AND age-group awards.  A great time raising funds and awareness for a great cause, Anna's Celebration of Life!
